ABOUT US

Founded by Simra Sadaf, Aliph is a tribute to words, language, and literature. It is the first letter in the Arabic, Persian, and Urdu languages. The word “Aliph” also has an “A” in it, denoting English’s first alphabet.

 

Aliph‘s birth was long due. The thought was conceived on the two hundred and eighteenth sleepless night during a tumultuous time. This idea was further crystallized on a warm lonely summer noon while sipping macchiato.

 

Her birth has brought hope for the hopeless just in the nick of time. She finally got its name after a year and a half of deliberation. With Aliph, our aim is to promote and provide home for the pieces that are homeless.
